Before founding Gastamo Group and opening some of Denver’s most beloved restaurants, Jean-Philippe Failyau was in the kitchen at Mizuna, learning from Frank Bonanno. He played a key role in launching Osteria Marco, and now, years later, he returns to Mizuna—not as a young chef, but as a collaborator.
For one night only—April 16, the bold, coastal flavors of Perdida meet Mizuna’s refined approach in a multi-course tasting menu. Philippe has selected some of his favorite dishes from Perdida, which Frank, Executive Chef Michael Dunning, and the Mizuna team will reimagine through their own lens—plus some complimentary courses to complete the experience. They’ll be on the line together, cooking side by side once again for a night of fresh ideas, creative techniques, and a new take on beloved flavors.
